The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development has approved a proposal from Aldelano Packaging Corporation in Madison County for $25,000 to upgrade the skills of 164 workers.
The state, in partnership with the Local Workforce Investment Area, will assist the company to ensure that the workers receiving services and the industry provising these services are in full compliance with the Workforce Investment Act and Regulations.
As a full partner in this process, LWIA will be involved in registering participants in the WIA program, monitoring the progress of training, and collecting data required for calculating performance measures.
