The Local Workforce Development Areas of West Tennessee, Southwest serving Chester, Decatur, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, McNairy, Northwest serving Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion, Weakley, and Greater Memphis serving Lauderdale, Tipton, Fayette, and Shelby Counties have prepared Local Plans and a Regional Plan for the 2018-2020 program years.
The Southwest Local Plan and West TN Regional Plan are OPEN FOR PUBLIC COMMENT JANUARY 3-17, 2019and will be available at any American Job Center or online at www.westtennesseecareers.org during this time. Local Plan Listening Sessions have been scheduled in each area. The Southwest Listening Session is scheduled for JANUARY 14, 2019 FROM 5:00 – 6:00 PM at Southwest HRA Central Office, 1527 White Avenue, Henderson, TN 38340.
A Regional Planning Council meeting is scheduled for JANUARY 15, 2019 AT 10:00 AM American Job Center, 1124 Whitehall, Jackson, TN

The Requests for Proposals do not specifically address additional programs such as, Re-Employment Services Eligibility Assessment (RESEA), Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), and Supplemental Nutritional Program (SNAP). Should these services be incorporated into our proposal, or will these be negotiated upon award? Only formula funds should be included in the proposal. Additional funding for other programs will be negotiated upon receipt of funding from the State.
